Curriculum & Spirituality

Our Bible curriculum is woven into every grade, moving from foundational scripture stories in elementary to theological inquiry in high school. We don't simply teach the Bible as a subject; we allow its living truths to shape students' character, discernment, and worldview, preparing them to lead lives of integrity, compassion, and purpose grounded in Christ. But spiritual formation at NCA extends beyond the classroom. Every Friday, our entire school community gathers for chapel—a cornerstone of student life. Chapel isn't just a tradition—it's a sacred space where students are spiritually cared for and shaped. At NCA, we invest in your child's soul with the same intentionality we bring to academics. Your child isn't just learning about faith here—they're living it, growing in it, and being equipped to carry it confidently into every area of their life.

Athletics: Building Character Through Competition

Our athletics program is about far more than wins and losses—it's about building character, developing discipline, and learning what it means to work hard for something bigger than yourself. Through competitive sports, our student-athletes are discovering the value of perseverance, teamwork, and pushing through challenges both on and off the field. Our coaches are mentors who don't just develop athletes—they develop young men and women of character who understand that true victory comes from giving your best effort, honoring your teammates, and competing with a Christ-centered attitude. Whether students are learning a new skill, facing a tough opponent, or celebrating a hard-earned win, NCA athletics is shaping Warriors who know how to work hard, compete with honor, and carry the lessons learned in competition into every area of their lives.

Worship: Training Hearts, Building Worshippers

Worship is taught and fostered every day, not just on Fridays. Led by School Chaplain Will Irwin, the Worship Program equips students with musical skills, spiritual foundation, and confidence—learning instruments, developing voices, and moving from self-consciousness to authentic encounter with God. Week by week shy singers find their voices, hesitant musicians pick up instruments, and new leaders step forward. The transformation is evident every Friday Chapel, where students confidently lead worship with passion and skill, creating an atmosphere where God's presence is tangible. Students are being equipped, encouraged, and empowered to become lifelong worshippers, leading others into God's presence

Service: Learning to Love by Serving Others

Faith is shown through action. Our students are learning that following Jesus means serving others—both in our local community and around the world. Throughout the year, students engage in hands-on service projects that take them beyond our campus and into the heart of Eugene, partnering with organizations like Hosea Youth Services to serve some of our community's most vulnerable young people. From organizing food drives and collecting essential items to volunteering their time and energy, NCA students are discovering the joy and purpose that comes from meeting real needs with tangible love. But our vision extends beyond Eugene—students also participate in fundraising initiatives that support overseas missional organizations, learning that the call to serve knows no borders.
